Education and citizenship in action

Since 2011, the Stop Bullying Project has promoted awareness and prevention of bullying and cyberbullying, encouraging respect, responsible coexistence and the protection of young people.

Its educational work brought lectures, audiovisual presentations and printed materials to students, educators, families and public institutions.

The project's first steps

The creation of Disk Bullying

At the beginning of the project, the Disk Bullying initiative was presented following a recommendation by Dr. Serrano, a city councilor in Praia Grande.

Film, education and reflection

Ronan's Escape

Australian short film about bullying

Set in rural Western Australia, the film follows Ronan, a 14-year-old subjected to repeated bullying at school. With very little dialogue, it invites discussion about psychological suffering, isolation, silence and the severe consequences bullying can produce.

Directed by A.J. Carter, the short film can support responsible conversations among students, families and educators about listening, support and early intervention.
